Floral Romance Styled Shoot

There is nothing I love more then doing a styled shoot. Okay, maybe I love eating Nutella crepes under the sparkling Eiffel Tower better, but what could possibly beat that? I love style shoots because as a wedding and event stylist I get to create so much beautiful work – but all based on someone else’s vision and preferences. When I do styled shoots, it is all mine. It is using my favorite colors, and my favorite flowers, and my favorite everything. And what is even better is that I get to go over-the-top with ideas and get extremely creative producing décor and flower ideas that may not be appropriate for a client’s special day.

I really have such fun putting together these shoots, and setting everything up. This is by far one of my favorite styled shoots I have set up to date. The theme for this shoot was “floral romance”. I wanted flowers, and then I wanted more flowers, and then I wanted even more flowers on top of that. Finished off with crystals and romantic candelight of course.

This flower arrangement was so enormous, it took 3 people to lift it up and put it on the vase. But I absolutely adore it. To me, there is no better flower mix in the world then using Roses, Hydrangeas, Lisianthus, Orchids, and Peonies. With that mixture you can’t help but get a wow factor. Whether it is something as extravagant as this or something smaller and more dainty, that mix of flowers together is going to always look amazing.

I hope you love this shoot as much as I did!
